Come and meet Alpine HC at the Care and Dementia Show

Care & Dementia Show 2017

Alpine HC will be exhibiting at this year’s Care and Dementia Show!

As you will likely already be aware,  the Care and Dementia Show (best known simply as the Care Show) is the UK’s best-known and largest event for care homes held annually at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. The Care Show provides training, solutions and networking opportunities to support those responsible for the care of others.

For the 2017 show, we are excited to be exhibiting at the centre of the main hall with a large stand showcasing beds and mattresses.

What’s on at Care Show 2017

The Care Show attracts 2,500+ carers and care operators from care homes across the UK. Visitors to this year’s show can expect some of the following:

Integrated Care Zone

Integrated Care

Care Show 2017 will be in partnership with NHS England to deliver a new Integrated Care Zone that will focus on best practice examples of the NHS and social care providers working together. The zone will provide a platform for clinical commissioning groups, NHS professionals and social care providers to learn about how to better work together and expand services, improve delivery of care and reduce costs.

Dementia in Care

Dementia in Care

Dementia care is a key aspect of the Care Show and event organisers are focussing on this area with a dedicated Dementia in Care theatre. Aimed at managers, directors and owners from housing and care providers, seminars in the theatre will explore best practice in dementia care across several care settings.

Virtual Dementia Tour®

Virtual Dementia Tour

The Virtual Dementia Tour® helps visitors to understand the everyday experiences of people with dementia. The tour gives participants an opportunity to understand what needs to change to keep loved ones at home longer, improve practices and enhance the quality of care. Scary, isolating, confusing and emotional, this fantastic virtual reality experience must not be missed and will truly change the lives of people with this disease.
