The Centre

Holton Lee is a small 13-bed centre that has been specially adapted to support people recovering from spinal injuries. Set in a 350-acre nature reserve, it is also a discovery centre and offers accessible outdoor activities for both residents and visitors.

The centre provides a light, open environment and homely, contemporary furniture was supplied and fitted by Alpine HC. Operators at Holton Lee chose the Opera ProSafe all-in-one bed in an oak wood colour for the 13 bedrooms because of its excellent nursing capabilities, postural support, and attractive appearance.

HRH The Princess Royal officially opened the Holton Lee centre in January. The opening event was attended by a wide range of visitors including local dignitaries, health and spinal injury services, supporters, donors, service users, and members of the local community. HRH The Princess Royal toured the new centre, met with service users, and learnt about the activities and projects that happen at Holton Lee.
