Delivery and Installation
Alpine HC holds stock in distribution centres across the UK, enabling us to provide same day despatch with next day delivery on a wide range of care equipment and furniture. This means your order will be with you within one working day of your order being placed, subject to stock availability.
Goods ordered before 4pm are delivered using our standard next working day service. We use a network of established and reliable couriers to provide logistics across the UK mainland. Next Day AM delivery is available in the checkout process. For delivery to Northern Ireland please ring 0333 222 8584 to place your order with one of our care equipment specialists.
Standard delivery for beds, furniture and rise recliners without additional installation added to the order will be delivered using a kerb-side pallet network. It is possible the delivery driver may bring the item onto the property, but this is at the discretion of the driver.
Please also consider that some of our deliveries come on large lorries, so it is worthwhile calling 0333 222 8584 when you place the order to highlight any access restrictions.
Delivery charges are as follows:
- Small Parcel Delivery (1-10kg): £7.95+VAT
- Large Parcel Delivery (10kg+): £14.95+VAT
- Pallet Delivery: £49+VAT
Delivery on all orders over £75 is free for registered care services such as care homes and hospitals. Please note that additional charges apply for remote and/or offshore locations.
While we stock a wide range of care equipment and furniture that we will despatch same day, there are some products that are either made to order or have longer lead-times. In these instances we will contact you within one working day to provide you with an approximate despatch date. Should the lead-time on the product be an issue, we will do everything possible to expedite the process or offer you a refund.
Buying your piece of equipment can be a completely hassle free process from start to finish when installation is included in the order. A little heads up
While the equipment will be delivered in transportation mode, which is much smaller than its finally installed size, it is worthwhile measuring your room space in advance of ordering to ensure there is space for the product to be installed. We recommend a working space of 2x2.5m in the room where the equipment will be installed. Further to this we recommend our installation customers perform a walk-through check to ensure clear and easy access for our engineers when manoeuvring the equipment from the delivery truck to its end position.
Installation available Monday to Friday
Our installation service team work their socks off from Monday to Friday. Installation with Saturday deliveries is not available, however, if you find yourself in a fix, give us a call and we'll see what we can do.
You may feel competent enough to install the bed but wouldn’t have the ability to bring the piece of equipment into the building. In this situation, we offer you a Room Placement, whereby our two-man delivery team will place the items in a room of your choice.
We offer a completely hassle free installation service whereby our competent team of service engineers will be more than happy to get everything set up, run a list of installation checks and ensure you are comfortable with its operation.
First Floor Installation
For those who wish to have their equipment installed in a room with stair-only access, we offer our excellent standard installation service on the first floor for an additional £30. If you need installation on second floor or higher, please don’t hesitate to call us on 0333 222 8584.
