Opera® Depend 1200 High/Very High Risk Profiling Mattress
The Opera® Depend 1200 is a high to very high risk mattress for acute use with a maximum user weight of 290kg (46st). Its smooth lying surface provides outstanding levels of comfort and pressure relief. The Depend mattress has unique key holes which allows the mattress to profile with a hospital bed.
Comfortable layered foam construction
The Opera® Depend offers high levels of comfort through a premium layered foam construction. Hinged profiling means the foam doesn't require any castellations, thereby providing a smooth lying surface for additional comfort. The mattress is suitable for users at high to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers.
Antimicrobial and Dust mite cover technology
The wipe clean cover is impregnated with antimicrobial agents ensuring the mattress covers are resistant to bacterial growth including MRSA, fungal growth and house dust mite.
Vapour-permeability ensures reduced risk of moisture lesions
The presence of moisture is known as a subjective indicator of pressure ulcer development. Two-way stretch mattress covers with vapour-permeability allow for better microclimate control, thereby reducing moisture presence.
50,000ppm Chlorine resistance
In response to the Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice, NHS Trusts and many Care Homes clean equipment including mattresses with 10,000ppm Hypochlorites. Opera® mattress covers with 50,000ppm Chlorine resistance will resist damage even where Chlorine builds up through multiple cleaning cycles.
