Opera® Classic Low Profiling Bed
BPL012The Opera® Classic Low Profiling Bed is a lower version of the standard height Opera® Classic, a design-conscious and functional bed from the Opera® range of profiling beds.
Low Safety Height
The Opera® Classic Low bed has a low height range that enables the bed to be lowered to just 220mm from the floor. This greatly reduces impact injury resulting from falls and when coupled with a Floor Safety Mat, injury risk is removed almost entirely.
The Opera® Classic Low bed is built with uncompromising quality that we confidently back with a full 3 year warranty. Operators have proven significantly reduced in-use costs when measured against comparable care beds.
Trendelenburg and Anti-Trendelenburg
A Trendelenburg function allows the bed to faciltate specialist care needs. The whole bed can tilt forwards (Anti-Trendelenburg) and backwards (Trendelenburg).
8” mattress depth capacity
The Opera® Classic Low can accommodate mattresses of up to 8" in depth whilst remaining fully compliant with bed rail regulations. This eliminates the need for extension height side rails or copious risk assessments in the situation that an individual requires an alternating pressure mattress.
Ergonomic locking handset
A straightforward, easy-to-operate handset is used to control the Opera® Classic Low bed. The handset has a locking feature that enables the operator to disable all or just Trendelenburg functions where there is a safety concern with the user.
Lock-down side rails
The full-length wooden side rails on the Opera® Classic Low bed can be locked down out of the way where they present a risk to the user. The lock-down feature is very simple to operate and provides a time-saving, convenient way to decommission side rails.
Wood colour options
The Opera® Classic Low is available from stock in oak, walnut and beech wood colours and can be specified in over 200 different wood colours for projects and custom orders. With this level of flexibility, interior designers are able to incorporate the bed as a central design feature in design schemes for new care facilities.
